Restaurant
The art of Provençal living
La Roue is the beating heart of L'Isle de Leos. The restaurant is a tribute to L'Isle sur la Sorgue and Provence. Its name is directly inspired by the local culture and the paddlewheels that adorn the banks of the Sorgue, while its dishes are a succession of scents and colours just like the perfumes our grandmothers used to smell in their kitchens.
In addition to the Sorgue, our open kitchen is a window onto the teams behind the stoves, who create the treasures of the region and the estate: vegetables from our organic kitchen garden, finely selected local produce, olive oil and Leos honey, everything here exudes Provence.
And to complete the wink, a local craftsman has created a custom-made sculptural wheel, illuminated by a subtle play of lights, which can also be turned slowly, like an invitation to slow down and savour the moment.
Gastronomy: a place for living and sharing
Here, gastronomy is much more than a simple pleasure, it's a celebration of sharing and good humour.
A tribute to the flavours of the land and the colourful stalls of the markets, each product here tells a story, the story of ancestral know-how and a generous land.
Provençal tables come alive with simple, refined dishes, in which each ingredient reveals its full authenticity. Simmered dishes, infused with garlic and thyme, tell of the sweetness of time stretching out. They are passed from hand to hand as bursts of laughter intersperse lively discussions, where gestures are as important as words... Here, the art of living is savoured as much as it is contemplated. Welcome to Provence.
THE FINE CASUAL SPIRIT
We imagined La Roue as a relaxed, refined bistronomic restaurant that is both local and alive.
Its elegant design, punctuated by vintage curiosities, and its relaxed, attentive service make for a memorable sensory experience.
The flavours on our plates become the memory of our souls.
Chef Yon Masurel
"Gastronomy is the art of awakening the senses to a delicate dance between ingredients and emotions."
That says a lot about the vision of Yon Masurel, Head Chef at L'Isle de Leos, a vision that we share and that perfectly reflects our promise of memorable sensory experiences.
After years of working alongside the most discerning Michelin-starred chefs, Yon Masurel became a private chef in his own home. It was another story of encounters that led him to take the reins of the kitchens at La Roue, a meeting with Patrick Bruel when he cooked for him during a performance.
Services: breakfast, lunch, dinner
Sunday brunch is a festive occasion to be shared around large tables. Generous, seasonal cuisine, full of flavour, in a friendly, sunny atmosphere. The sun also shines on the plates, as our brunch definitely has a Provencal accent, with its very local produce.
Our Epicurean landmark, Augusta is the wine cellar of Isle de Leos. A place for tasting and sharing, the wines of our estate coexist here with the great vintages selected from around the world as well as from our own terroir. People come to Augusta to chat, discover and marvel. Curious and epicurean types meet here around a shared passion for these moments of delectation, guilty or not.
